I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, with a concentration on news editorial and photography. During my time at Baylor I also completed coursework in website development, advertising, marketing, and public relations. My professional background spans business development, marketing, and journalism; I’ve worked as a Business Development Representative at Arena, where I prospected and qualified leads for cloud-based solutions, maintained Salesforce CRM records, and drove customer satisfaction rates. Prior to that, I gained hands-on experience as a staff writer and photographer for The Baylor Lariat, publishing over 20 articles and expanding readership engagement through multimedia storytelling. I also worked in marketing and sales at Sewell Automotive Companies, where I coordinated promotional events and boosted sales through market research.
Beyond my experience, I have strong technical skills in Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, WordPress, Squarespace, and SEO, paired with HTML/CSS knowledge that supports both creative and digital projects.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about staying active and adventurous! I love skiing, weightlifting, and hiking, which keep me energized and balanced. I also enjoy wine nights with friends and cozy weekends binge-watching movies with my husband, which give me time to recharge and connect. I originally grew up in Chicago, but at just nine years old I moved overseas to Saudi Arabia for my father’s job. That experience profoundly shaped me as a woman, teaching me resilience and adaptability while opening my eyes to new and diverse cultures. Living abroad at such a formative age gave me a deeper appreciation for perspectives different from my own, and instilled in me a lasting respect for cultural diversity and global connection. Altogether, I combine creativity, analytical skills, and relationship-building with a love for exploration and storytelling.
