Schofield Endowed Chair of Biomedical Sciences at Baylor University, has been awarded a 5.6 million dollar Transformative Research Award by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to develop personalized treatments for gastrointestinal diseases such as irritable bowel syndrome [IBS].
