Meet the creator, Stephanie Rasmuson! She is a writer, lead reporter, photographer, and creative visionary!
Stephanie currently acts as the lead reporter for the New Boston Post where she runs two columns. Her first is an arts & entertainment column called "Beacon Hill Whisperer" and the second is a high profile interview column called "Spotlight."
Her work focuses on clear, engaging storytelling grounded in well-researched journalism; while also maintaining an emphasis on human impact. She has experience covering a range of subjects, from culture and social issues to current events, and is particularly interested in stories that highlight voices and events within her proximity. Her work is driven by a commitment to ethical reporting and a belief in journalism that brings nuance and accessibility to complex stories.
Stephanie graduated from Baylor University with a degree in journalism and photography, where she built a strong foundation in reporting, media ethics, and narrative writing as a reporter for The Baylor Lariat.
Born and raised in Chicago, Stephanie also spent six years living in Saudi Arabia due to her father’s work. Those experiences continue to shape her curiosity and perspective, guiding her approach to storytelling, whether that is through articles or photography, as well as her interest in amplifying voices and events within her community.
